The fact that innocent Palestinians keep disappearing and no Western government is calling it out should worry all. The more this gets normalised, the more this will happen. And not just on THAT piece of occupied land. Why are we constantly okay with the rights of Palestinians getting run over?

This is one of the few Pocketopia projects that hasn’t hit its goal yet. The premise seems clever to me, and I love the option for solo/duet modes. I’m in; anyone care to join and help push it across the finish line?

I watched an older Nancy Drew game playthrough a few weeks ago and was tickled to see that it featured a game I used to play when I was a kid - Scopa! Last week I was glancing through the used games and found a copy at @terminalcitycon.ca!! And - my partner has beat me at every game so far 😂

Once at the convention, we explored the vendors, the used game sale table (foreshadowing), proto alley which was already hopping and met up with friends where we started with Taj Mahal.

This is my board game haul from 2 weeks of travelling. Some are new, some I got from flea markets and some are independent games. I also got a couple of expansions, stickers and pins. I was at Dice Tower west, NYC and @terminalcitycon.ca

A very modest acquisition pile from @terminalcitycon.ca, including a couple of used marketplace finds. I discovered @joshuakitz.bsky.social selling Canadian indie TTRPGs and a vendor with beautiful hand-spun dice bags (which means room to buy more dice from @adventuredice.ca)

We had a really fun time at trivia at @terminalcitycon.ca ! I hope to see them again next year! Maybe we’ll manage to pull a win again!

Next year we have 3 FULL days of gaming which means all the more reason to book a trip to Vancouver (and hopefully easier registration for me)!

Update: Realis is fun! I played Yulian Apostroph, a Newshound who was a great liar in search of a deeper truth. I threatened to reveal a corrupt mayor's secrets and got our orphan vessel impounded by the cops, then we foiled an Imperial Empest invasion. @austinwalker.bsky.social made a good game.
