Highlight: From new to me games, I'd say it's between Hansa, Propolis, and Rowdy Partners. Lowlight: I very much bounced off of solo Wroth. Need to play multiplayer. Surprise: Guildlands. Asymmetrical Carcassonne-esque game was way more fun than I thought it would be.

We have a new game called Wrexham-Opoly. Yep... you guessed it... it's a property trading game celebrating the Welsh city of Wrexham. Fun fact! We just shipped our first copy. Where? Not to a store in the UK, but to a retailer by the name of House of Books & Games located in Windsor, Connecticut.

This is a fun one because, well, gnomes. But it also has monthly themed vignettes, so for those who like to do their puzzles "in season", this one works any time. Very frustrating. Only one canceled Air Canada flight on the board at Montreal airport. And it's ours. Been in line for nearly 2 hours, and about another 3 hour wait to speak to a ticketing agent. Could have taken an earlier flight if they had given us advance notice our flight was being canceled.

Check out one of our new Family Pieces puzzle 🧩 called The Library Keeper. What is a Family Pieces puzzle? On one side, the pieces are large - perfect for kids. The other side has smaller pieces - perfect for adults. This way, the whole family can work on the same puzzle at the same time.

Check out Arwen's excellent review of the card game Rainbow. Rainbow is a clever 2-player card-collecting card game.

This review is from over a year ago. But it's worth re-sharing. Zensu sells well at game conventions, but outside that, it underperformed sales wise. I wish more people knew about this excellent two-player game.

For anyone unfamiliar with Karak, check out this great video by Raymond at Board Game Heaven. Karak is a great introductory family-friendly dungeon crawler. Outset Media is pleased to announce we will be distributing Karak to the #flgs trade in Canada, the USA, and the UK this Fall.

In the 7th spot on Outset Media's top 15 games at Gen Con was the kickstarter version of One-Hit Heroes. One-Hit Heroes is a co-operative boss rush game where players must defeat the boss without getting hit even once. We will be disturbing a slimmed down version later this Fall direct to retail.

Off to Indianapolis for Gen Con. 3 min wait for Uber. 12 minute drive. 4 minutes to check in and drop bag. 2 minutes at security. 1 minute through customs. 5 minutes random walking time. 27 minutes total from hotel to gate. I could have slept longer. That has got to be a Guinness World Record.

What a great night. We had our pre-lauch party in Toronto for Guildlands (the official launch being at #GenCon2025). Over 50 people in attendance. It was a great mix of retailers, content creators, and inventors - including the game's designers Ken Boyter and Kedric Winks. Next stop Indianapolis.
