We have a new game called Wrexham-Opoly. Yep... you guessed it... it's a property trading game celebrating the Welsh city of Wrexham. Fun fact! We just shipped our first copy. Where? Not to a store in the UK, but to a retailer by the name of House of Books & Games located in Windsor, Connecticut.

This is a fun one because, well, gnomes. But it also has monthly themed vignettes, so for those who like to do their puzzles "in season", this one works any time. Very frustrating. Only one canceled Air Canada flight on the board at Montreal airport. And it's ours. Been in line for nearly 2 hours, and about another 3 hour wait to speak to a ticketing agent. Could have taken an earlier flight if they had given us advance notice our flight was being canceled.

This review is from over a year ago. But it's worth re-sharing. Zensu sells well at game conventions, but outside that, it underperformed sales wise. I wish more people knew about this excellent two-player game.

In the 7th spot on Outset Media's top 15 games at Gen Con was the kickstarter version of One-Hit Heroes. One-Hit Heroes is a co-operative boss rush game where players must defeat the boss without getting hit even once. We will be disturbing a slimmed down version later this Fall direct to retail.

Off to Indianapolis for Gen Con. 3 min wait for Uber. 12 minute drive. 4 minutes to check in and drop bag. 2 minutes at security. 1 minute through customs. 5 minutes random walking time. 27 minutes total from hotel to gate. I could have slept longer. That has got to be a Guinness World Record.

What a great night. We had our pre-lauch party in Toronto for Guildlands (the official launch being at #GenCon2025). Over 50 people in attendance. It was a great mix of retailers, content creators, and inventors - including the game's designers Ken Boyter and Kedric Winks. Next stop Indianapolis.

Don't know if I should be happy or sad about this. Canadian Trivia was my first game published, which was 29 years ago. Still in print today, but there have been different versions over the years. One thrift store with 4 versions of Canadian Trivia, including the very first printing from 1997.
