My 17-year-old nephew has celiac. We were pleasantly suprised to see how many restaurants in Rome had gluten free options. Several dedicated gluten free bakeries too. But gluten free options at McDonald's?!? He had his first McDonald's burger and fries in his life. He had soooooooo many questions.

Last full day of vacation in Rome. Spotted this relief in the side of some random building near the Colosseum. Went to take a closer look.

On a family trip to London. Went off on my own to visit a #flgs called Orc's Nest while eveyone else was shopping (for things that weren't games). They had a great selection of games. Happy to see they carry a few of ours, including our newest game Flora Funga by Kedric Winks.

Based on how I've been posting about Guildlands on BGG, you'd think it is the highest ranking game we distribute. But that's not the case. Check this out. Feed The Kraken has an overall rank of 422, and a rank of 12 in the party game category. We co-publish Feed the Kraken in Canada, USA, and UK.

I post a lot about Guildlands, so you may think I'm one of the game's designers. I'M NOT. Nor was I involved with the artwork or editorial team. I am the founder of Outset (publisher) and finding this journey fascinating. But I have designed a few games, like Dragon Dash (current ranking 24,855) 😆

Guildlands has now broken the 11,000 ranking mark on BGG (10,959 to be precise). WHOOPTY DOO, IT'S ONLY THE TOP 11,000. Well... it's a big deal for us. I do like looking at what games we are catching. Only 6 rankings away from a game about cherry picking, and 9 rankings away from Cranium.

Cat Earth was definitely our most talked about game at London Toy Fair. Arriving in our Canadian warehouse in about 3 weeks, US warehouse in 4 weeks, and our UK warehouse in 5 weeks.

This is still one of my favourite memories from Pax Unplugged.

This sums up Guildlands perfectly. Great review from Meeple Mountain. We often hear that Guildlands feels unbalanced. We've logged just shy of 1,000 plays. While it may not seem so on your first play, once you've played the game a few times (and various guilds), those perceived inbalances go away.

For anyone who has ever wanted to visit beautiful Vancouver, here is your excuse. I went last year for the first time. It was amazing!!! Highly recommend to all our American friends looking for a new con to attend.

We sold out of most of the puzzles we brought to PAXU. One of the first to go was this gem. It's a 500 piece Cobble Hill puzzle called "Dungeon Run".

There is often a #cobblehill puzzle on the go in the reading room at my dad's assisted living residence. But this image was a bit of a surprise.

Definition of a super fan. Met this guy on Day 2 at PAXU. He loved 5 Minute Dungeon so much... he got himself a tattoo of his favourite character from the game. THAT is the definition of a super fantastic.

One of my favourite stories from Day 2 at PAXU. On Day 1, the orange cat token from Shadow Ninjas disappeared. It was a mystery. This afternoon, someone came by our booth and brought by the missing token. He had accidentally slipped it into his pocket after a game demo. Welcome home orange ninja.
