I’ve been drawing a bunch of cool stuff lately and I just realized what an incredible privilege it is to be able to create without the need for AI. Like, I want to make a cool dinosaur and I just do it. Bug monster? Fucking done. No one can stop me and I don’t have to pay a subscription fee.

ReBoot, Beast Wars, Shadow Raiders. Mainframe was not messing around in the 90’s/Early 2000’s. While they were literally pioneering the medium, they made some of the best written shows of the era, animated or otherwise. The animation may be dated at times, but the storytelling is timeless.

I have client work that I really need to finish this week, but all I want to do is draw anti-fascist fanart because it feels like it’s literally the only thing I can do to fight the tidal wave of authoritarianism on my feeds. I may need to just log off for the week to get this done. I hate that.

I don’t know how to say it any clearer. FUCK ICE. I was radicalized in the early 90’s when a bunch of misfits and outcasts showed me what it means to stand up to tyranny and fight for what’s right. What is happening in the world right now is evil, plain and simple. Magneto was right.

One positive thing I’ll say about AI is it’s so awful that now I can do a pretty mediocre photoshop and it looks fine. It’s still better than some AI slop.
