Finished @breakoutcon.bsky.social with Brindlewood Bay - squee'ing when I saw the Maven Moves, I knew +90% of the references. This yrs takeaway: BB and Blades in the Dark were standouts for me, enjoyed Cypher System, SHIFT was fresh and interesting. Good seeing old friends and compatriots.

Did you get to try the Silly Goose Convention!?Something is Wrong with the Chickens was a HUGE HIT last year and Silly Goose looked just a fun!

I played more awesome games this weekend at @breakoutcon.bsky.social 1. My very first game of DIE! with @aramvartian.com where we played kids at a camp for troubled teens. Loved the story+premise and wish I could have played for 8 hours instead of just 3, Aram is so good at building tension!

Last game of @breakoutcon.bsky.social was the long awaited Stationfall by Ion Games. It's a really fun design that leads to a great narrative. We played with 9 players which is a double edged sword. It's hilariously chaotic but the downtime between turns is a bit long.

Deadly Society looked so good! That’s the only hard part about organizing, no chance to play all the incredible games! Thank you for joining us!! We hope you will be back next year!!!
