Been editing the last two episodes of season 1 of Gamestorm this weekend. Its just blowing my mind how incredible and creative every single guest I had on for this project has been.

I've been kicking around a game about Dragons and Riders where each player plays both. Focus is HEAVILY on the Bond between them as companions and play splits between adventure sessions with multiple players and asynchronous Solo play where you deepen the Bond through prompts and journaling.

Remember: the Senate already passed a transit bill FIVE months ago. I have Thoughts™ about its contents and process of getting there, but they did in fact pass a bill with transformational reforms and a full funding package that the House could vote on literally any time.

I am sick and fucking tired of hearing legislators talk about how “hard” transit is. They may not understand right now how hard it will be for their constituents if they don’t get it done — but every single member of the House is running for re-election right now. We will not forget.

Illinois State Senator @mikesimmonsil.bsky.social just announced that in response to the end of SNAP funding he is transforming his office into a mutual aid hub to support the community.

The House and the governor's office had five months to get on the same page regarding revenue, and clearly they failed to do so. How the heck do we have a legislative supermajority + a generally agreeable governor and still fall short?? Advocates have been hounding them for MONTHS. So frustrating.

This is actually insane. Illinois is really doing their best to show that even when democrats have control of everything they’re still not able to govern effectively.

Noteworthy: effective date for most (all?) the provisions in this bill is July 1, which means passage in the veto session only requires a simple majority

The best part about Gamehole Con was getting to set this in front of such a wide range of people who had never heard of us and see so many people get excited about it.

Gamehole Con was an interesting experience. Got to meet @gilarpgs.bsky.social, @willjobst.bsky.social and many other incredible people! It had a strange cadence that felt hard to pin down though. Looking forward to more cons of all kinds so I can get a better sense of what to expect.
