I don't think enough people know how to respond to their reactions instead of reacting to events/situations. I do include friends of mine in that category. It's definitely the biggest factor in why folks struggle to maintain a healthy relationship with social media.

I'm curious how many folks that are more for changing the rules, especially handwaving them during a session, are also against looking up rules to clarify them. If you find that looking up rules kills the fun to me that's an indication you're playing the wrong game or perhaps have a bad group.
