This is a problem with "medical assistance in dying" (MAiD). Don't offer care, and people are suffering so much they want to die. Just came across another paper on pediatric psychopharmacological approaches authored by leading psychiatrists published in a psychiatric journal in reaction to the MAHA. It is so unbearably poor and biased so that it can be used by MAHA as evidence 🙈

Vitamine D as antidepressant - a meta-analysis with the "standard error". Fun fact: today I commented on PubPeer about a recent Vitamine D study with implausible results (SMD 2.9). So I searched for a meta-analysis and found also issues. And there would be another meta-analysis. It never ends.

An abbreviation (ABB) in a journal article (JA) or Grant Application (GA) is rarely worth the words it saves. Every ABB requires cognitive resources (CR) and at my age by the time I'm halfway through a JA or GA I no longer have the CR to remember what your ABB stood for.

It can be problematic when editors in chief (EIC) publish in their own journals. INSPECT-SR is finally out! Existing Risk of Bias analyses are not designed to detect the untrustworthiness of trials. The INSPECT-SR tool is a missing link 👏👏👏 We already used it and it was indeed helpful.

To err is human. To leave out that you take money from 20 drug companies, were part of the original panel aimed to downplay withdrawal effects, to call for guidelines to be updated based on 10 week studies well that is divine. I think that's how the saying goes.
