Trump wanted the biggest fireworks display in history and it looks like his vanity could lead to yet another Trumptastrophe. He’s going to Hormuz the Semiquincentennial. I just hope people don’t get killed.

Donald Trump's self-serving massive fireworks display on July 4 may cause the worst air pollution and public health disaster in Washington DC history, especially when combined with the extreme heat wave. Stay indoors, stay away, wear an N95 mask (you still have them, right, because of Covid?).

Good thing nobody covered Trump’s 2024 win as a mandate for dramatic policy change & a right-wing vision of America’s future — instead of, say, a close win driven mainly by the price of eggs and gas going up (then back down!) in 2022-23. That would have been irresponsible. Good thing nobody did that

As I told some people on the Hill recently, Trump is writing the Dems’ ads for them. He’s at -50 on handling prices, and 50% of persuadable voters say the economy/prices is their top issue, and they trust Dems by 10 on it (will likely increase with new data). This is a huge easy W for Dems
