I finished my tasks! I will set myself tasks for the afternoon, too, but for now I can relax.

Ok, I'm committing to THREE tasks right now: I will get dressed, organize my pills for the week, and do my PT exercises. Then we'll see. My brain is struggling with putting everything else aside, but I have to.

Having been to many protests, what gets me is the LIES. The police lie and they feed those lies to the media and the media either don't care or they want to perpetuate the lies. Meanwhile, I WAS THERE, and I saw what went down, but they are saying something completely different.

One of the things about people showing up to protest for the first time, that many, many armchair theorists don't grasp, is the effect of seeing what happens with your own eyes, then seeing how media covers it, and what is said ABOUT YOU by media and political personalities/office holders.

There are unfortunately soooooo many people who may try to tell you otherwise (especially on the bird app and the clock app). Don't let them get to you. Block or mute liberally.

Saint Paul schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare for optional online learning. I’ve seen schools close for snow, for pandemic, for natural disaster. I’ve never seen schools close because of threat from our own government.

Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.
