I am so proud to be a part of Working Girls Press’s latest anthology and I’m fangirling over the talented people who wrote our blurbs! I wrote 4 essays in this collection, and they are certainly the most personal pieces I’ve published. I’m anxiously awaiting the 5/1/26 pub date!

Was having knee & back problems so a few months ago I started a pretty intense regime that includes PT, yoga, weight training, and sauna & cold plunge and my body is so tired that my mind is quiet. Honestly, I highly recommend this approach given the current state of the world.

I get very depressed if I think too much about the Epstein shit because personally I believe that survivors deserve more than just the promise of maybe being a pawn in someone else’s political game after publicly retraumatizing themselves

I remember a time when poly used to cause me anxiety and now I’m like, “Wait, it means that I have a Friday night alone in my house to work on my writing, organize my lingerie, and eat ice cream while watching TV my partner doesn’t like?” It is actually amazing. 😍

On International Whores' Day, I found out that my 19-year-old son's girlfriend's parents are forbidding her from coming to my house to visit with him because they did a deep dive, found my writing, and think I'm a corrupting force. Sex work stigma impacts every part of my life.

Gotta point out (again) the empowerment conversation is silly. 90% of sex workers don't talk about being empowered. They talk about being employed. Empowerment doesn't pay bills. Money does. Sex workers work for the same reasons as everyone else- It costs money to be alive.

Rewatching Sex & the City just because, as a sex columnist, I find the show amusing (sans the endless hooker comments). In an episode we watched last night, she said she thought the patent leather Mary Jane Monolo Blanik’s were a myth. They are in my closet, I can confirm they aren’t a myth 👠😂
