It was great to visit RWE in Didcot B Power Plant where I learnt about how power is generated, both in our constituency, and across the country. Who knew one of the three main stations in Britain not running a deficit would be right here in Didcot? Thank you to all who made this visit possible.

Elon Musk openly called for violence on our streets yesterday. I hope politicians from all parties come together to condemn his deeply dangerous and irresponsible rhetoric. Britain must stand united against this clear attempt to undermine our democracy.

The recent government reshuffle is deeply disruptive. It does nothing to tackle the economic challenges we face, whilst derailing upcoming plans to hold the Government to account, with meetings and scrutiny opportunities now in disarray. This is not the behaviour of a competent government.

Today at PMQs I asked the Prime Minister to confirm his commitment to the UK Space Agency based at Harwell. Given the government’s decision to scrap the UKSA as an executive agency I asked him commit to protecting the agency’s international credibility, operational independence, and budgets.

The cut in the Russian oil price cap to $47.60 is just a drop in the ocean. We need tougher action: 🚫 Ban UK imports of fuels made from Russian oil 🚫 Block UK firms from shipping/insuring Russian LNG 💰 Slash the cap to $30 Hit Putin’s war chest. Stand with Ukraine.

Oxfordshire Lib Dem MPs have called on the government to 'get a grip' on the sewage crisis, as new polling shows 44% of Brits are scared to swim in the sea in the summer. The MPs have called on the Government to set up the new regulator as soon as possible and ensure it has the powers it needs.

At the weekend I spoke to the BBC about @libdems.org.uk calls for capping profits of companies providing SEND education. It's unacceptable for some private providers to line their pockets exploiting a system in crisis, while councils face bankruptcy and children miss out on the support they need.

I had a great time at TRUCK festival last weekend. A highlight was the Feel Good Food Hall, which not only keeps festival goers - including me - extremely well fed, but raised £190,000 for charity last year! A good opportunity to raise funds and awareness of the valuable work so many charities do.

I am proud to stand alongside over 220 of my MP colleagues in calling for the UK to recognise the State of Palestine

The @libdems.org.uk have a strong record of fighting for a better deal for carers, incl. an enhanced Pupil Premium for Young Carers to help schools fund additional support. I spoke to BBC South about what more can be done to improve the support and outcomes for these incredible young people more.

Learner drivers are still waiting far too long to get a driving test. Despite plans announced by the DVSA last year to increase the number of examiners and improve the system. @libdems.org.uk colleagues and I have written to the minister to ask for a progress and push for action.
