My purple African Violet has been hiding a beautiful secret beneath its leaves, which I would have never noticed except for moving it to a higher shelf with a plant light for the winter. Such gorgeous texture and contrasting colors!

After a beautiful snowfall - as the first one always is - I compared nature's summer upholstery job with the winter one. Both are beautiful, though summer took several weeks and winter did it in one big drop🙂💚🤍
