Trying out @graysky.app by @mozzius.dev - looks snappy so far! Love the fact that skeets can be posted from anywhere within the app. I’d love to see the collapsible ‘post skeet’ option retain the drafted skeet - so one can work on a it while reviewing other skeets - something even Twitter lacks!

I can't believe my last post on BlueSky was 15 days ago! I guess I've been more active on the Bird app since the floodgates opened here - so what did I miss?

Trying out @skyline.gay by @louis02x.com. It allows for custom algorithms and lists! It also allows for sharing your algorithms & lists and I can see it developing into a marketplace in the near future. The match/relevance percentage feature is also kinda neat.

Took myself out on a date yesterday, and one of the highlights of the day was Prawn Tempura prepared by the insanely talented - Chef Yutaka Saito. Perfectly crisp on the outside yet incredibly soft & juicy on the inside - with the textures magically transitioning into one another.

Can anyone ever say no to a hot chocolate drink prepared using Single Origin 70% Dark Chocolate from India with some churros at the side - that too on a rainy day? Neither could I!

Their skepticism is understandable for how questionable other platforms have been in the past, but they need to realize this is different.

The energy difference between the new users and us OGs is quite apparent. I remember when I first joined BlueSky, I posted like 100 posts in the first 24 hours or so! Now I‘m watching these new users do the same - while we OGs are being laidback, taking our time, and posting in a relaxed manner!

Man the amount of green flags here are wild: - Posting release notes in multiple languages - domain names as handles!!! - protocol docs *before* client was out - default server + options for others + hopefully soon migration of user accounts!

we have several things roadmapped for the short term: - moderation w/ labels & user choice - launching federation & account migration - custom 3rd party algos - 3rd party labels - DMs but we're pretty light on our feet & shift priorities as we feel the need

The founding team holds the equity, no proper fundraise has happened yet, twitter owns none of it, jack is only on the board. @jay.bsky.social worked very hard to ensure a good clean start
