Revisiting this list and trying to come up with three genres per album. A few new ones revealing themselves: Yacht Funk: A mixture of Yacht Rock and Funk. 😃 Jazz n Bass. Jazzy vibes with a Drum n Bass backbeat.

Throughout the year I’ve updated a list of album releases that I’ve enjoyed listening to. They’ve been on repeat and shone in their own particular way. Hopefully by the end of this year I’ll revisit them all and come up with a Top 10, with a bit of commentary. Gonna start the revisit today. 😀

Over several years, Doves have become and will likely always be my favourite UK indie band. Great to listen to their latest greatest hits collection. Every tune full of depth and emotion.

Only week to go until the "Around The World In A Day" Deluxe comes out. 21/11/25. Can't wait! Shame it's not a super deluxe and doesn't include unreleased tracks from the vault. But I'll cut Prince some slack. He only turned 26 whilst recording this album. 🫠
