sorry to do a “well this happened” post but … this did actually happen!! And I am a bit in shock about how well it went down and want to thank everyone in the audience at the London, Bristol and Woodbridge shows this week for being utterly glorious. Feel like I’ve just played Wembley!!

Big walk today with Big Filthy. Almost three hours walking up to an old castle whilst listening to Godflesh’s second album ‘Pure’.

I've dropped this album that I made a while ago with my stepdad Richard down to £1 for a little bit : thomasragsdalemusic.bandcamp.com/album/elements It's essentially Richard playing wonderful improvised piano melodies whilst I mess around with guitar, synths and fx boxes. All produced in one day!

A HUGE amount of fun to be had with this machine. Whatever you play through it can be slowed down manually and it’s like the world slows with you…

Currently watching Harry Brown and wow this has held up well. It’s a little excessive, but so damn bleak.

Probably opening a massive worm can here, but which version of Blade Runner should I watch? I’ve seen it before (2-3 times I think), but I can’t remember which version. There’s a free version on Prime titled ‘Blade Runner’ and there’s also one titled ‘Blade Runner The Final Cut’ (for a few £). Help!

Rewilding is an incredible force of nature. They’d have you think this is messy/untidy, but why is there an obsession with cleaning nature? For propagating - of course and I practice that, but otherwise wise not just leave it?! You don’t need to clear weeds for the concrete to breathe.

Arps through reel to reel = warm, crunchy, compressed (lovingly), natural, unpredictable, the best…

Three years ago today I met this big smelly fella. And after a couple of visits he came home to live with me. He was abandoned, unloved, alone, unwanted, hurt and scared. He didn’t know how to play with toys or go for a walk or lie down next to someone. Now he’s crazy and owns the house.
