I have been missing for some time owing to bereavement. Losing your mother (even if you had a tricky relationship) results in a massive reassessment of your own life. The clock has started ticking.

I do get bored, in the flat field.

Apologies for radio silence. My mum passed away and it created all kinds of horrid, feelings-related stuff. Mum lived in Bootle for a while in the 60s, and she always said I would love Liverpool (she knew about the Irish link). Now mum has gone and I feel so lost.

The current job market is BRUTAL. It's like a Squid Game/Hunger Games mashup with extra mental health implications. If you're going through the same thing, you have my sympathy 🖤

Music people! I need advice! If you're self-releasing an album and want physical copies, would you say cassette or CD (vinyl isn't an option) is the better choice? I know lots of folk don't own a CD player these days, but are tapes any more useful? I'm so out of touch...
