The only record they are required to make is a confidential written report of the names and relief granted for claimants. Since the report only goes to the AG, good luck ever finding out who this money is going to. I mean, they could literally just pay it all to Trump.

The fund will determine its own procedures and rules for processing, granting, or denying claims. I think this essentially means that the Trump cronies will grant and deny claims based on vibes.

I missed this the 1st time around and I genuinely failed to appreciate the cartoonish levels of corruption. There’s TONS of corruption on display all day every day—it’s hard to keep track—but literally siphoning nearly $2 BILLION of public monies for yourself and your cronies is pretty brazen!
