Transphobia is not a rational position. It is in fact pre-rational. All "rationality" of it is entirely post hoc fabrication. The invalidating of trans men and Trans women exists on the same valence of rationality as "broccoli is yucky."

Almost every major outlet has run a piece entitled “who are the Kurds?” In the last week. Which other ethnic group, much less US ally for decades, would they write like this about? Why do Kurdish people have to be treated like some kind of oddity every time they’re relevant to a US audience?

what’s astounding about this is not only the incredible cruelty but the complete lack of even the most basic public relations instincts they kidnap a five year old and generate national outrage and rather than do some basic window dressing to treat him nice while abusing everyone else they do this

I have been actively involved in protest movements for 24 years. I have never seen anything approaching this scale. Minneapolis is not accepting what's happening here. ICE fucking murdered a woman for participating in this, and all that did is bring out more people, from more walks of life.
