Reading Schools Week 2026 - here's a few of the activities that our children will taking part in this week. It's been great to speak with the children about the books they are enjoying in school and at home. #askmewhatimreading #readingschoolsweek

During the month of February our library will be open to parents and children in our school from 3-4pm. Please see the email sent out last week with dates and how to book a slot. We hope you all enjoy using our library. 📚

Well done the 2 P7 boys teams undefeated at the football festival at Grangemouth High last night. More importantly they represented themselves and our school values brilliantly. They looked amazing in strips provided by PAWS. It was so cold I never got any pics so feel free to add below if have any.

Well done to our basketball players looking splendid in their new strips provided by PAWS who won both their games last night. Thanks to Miss Fraser for taking pupils along.

Just catching up but well done to our Girls Football team who took part in a football festival last week. Many thanks to Miss Thomson for taking them, they represented the school fantastically.

We went on a tree hunt this morning and tried to identify the trees in our playground by their leaves 🍃

Today we have been working on our class text Greek Myths. We have read the first story Pandora’s Box and answered questions on this story we are now creating our own Greek vase that we will add to a display 😊⭐️.

We are Wallacestone change makers - we are learning how to Bee a superhero! We created posters with information about how to save bees. Ask your child how a bee makes its buzzing noise.

Our first volunteer morning of the year will be on Saturday 13th September between 9:30am and 11:30am. An email will go home today with more information.
