A and D are leading a lesson on different languages this afternoon 😊

This week is Dyslexia Awareness Week in Scotland. We discussed that dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that mainly causes problems with reading, writing and spelling. We thought about our strengths and things we struggle with. We also had a lovely time reading with P7. 📚

This week we will be focusing on times tables. Any opportunity to practise these at home would be great. Top marks has lots of free games and I have uploaded a BBC Bitesize link with songs and clips to teams that children can use to help 😊.

@mrsmacglone-wps.bsky.social @wallacestoneps.bsky.social In preparation for the “A Character Who Cares” book event tomorrow, and as a link to their Changemaker work, P6 pupils visualised and drew what they think EMPATHY looks like. We used appropriate colours as well.

We started learning about how to lead groups of children in play. We looked at Safety and had a quick lesson on organising groups in a fun way.Thanks Mr Bannerman!
