As part of our hot and cold lands topic we learned about deserts. We discussed that they are very dry areas of land that get less than 25cm of rainfall each year. They can be hot or cold. We looked at the Sahara desert and painted these lovely landscapes. ποΈπ΅πͺπ¦

This week in science we were learning that Earth spins around its axis in 24 hours resulting in day and night. We also discussed how the tilt of the Earth on its axis as it circles the sun causes the pattern of the seasons.
