It took just one phone call from Donald Trump for Starmer to jump into yet another Middle East illegal war, failing to learn the lessons of the tragedies of Iraq, Libya and Syria.

Legalising and regulating drugs is about reducing the harm and deaths caused by drug use, and treating addicts rather than criminalsing them. It is appalling that Labour and Reform are playing politics with people's lives.

Farage and Reform are bad losers. Their failure to secure the seat was down to the vast majority of voters roundly rejecting their hate because Gorton and Denton is a progressive place. 68% of voters in the constituency voted Green, Labour or Lib Dem. Don't let them use lies to twist the truth.

The Green Party calls on Starmer to call out our allies acting like rogue states and defying international law. Illegal bombing is not the way to help the people of Iran, or to maintain global security. We must not be complicit in any way. We must call for rapid de-escalation.

It's not "sectarian" to oppose genocide.

Israel and the US have launched an unprovoked and illegal attack on a sovereign nation during ongoing diplomatic negotiations. We should not allow the UK to be dragged into another American war. We must do everything possible to stop this and uphold peace in the region.

US and Israeli strikes on Iran are hugely dangerous: irresponsible, provocative and illegal. Starmer must call out these so-called ‘allies’ - who are acting as rogue states - and use all UK levers to uphold international law.
