I’ve just been at the “Trump Not Welcome” demonstration in London, standing alongside people from across the country to tell the govt that a leader who abuses his office to enrich his family and fan the flames of racism, xenophobia, and misogyny is not welcome in the UK.

So lovely to celebrate 40 years of the Hereford Muheza Link society, a wonderful international link between Hereford and Muheza which sees nurses, doctors and other health workers take part in exchanges between the UK and Tanzania!

Still so many questions about Peter Mandelson's appointment: why wasn't proper forensic questioning done, especially considering he had previously been dismissed from govt jobs for wrongdoing? And why on earth is he still being permitted to hold the Labour whip?

Utterly ridiculous. 12 votes in the Commons tonight means 3 hours of tedious trudging through voting lobbies. What a total waste of time and energy when MPs could do it in 3 minutes with a modern voting system. It’s long past time to drag Parliament into the 21st century.

The #Wyescapes project in my constituency is a testament to the dedication of farmers battling agricultural pollution and protecting our farmlands—but they can’t do it alone. Farmers need much more govt support to scale up these vital measures and invest in #RiverFriendlyFarming.

To assert the UK has taken enough action in the face of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza is frankly outrageous. We must impose a full arms embargo, halt all military cooperation, ban settlement goods, ramp up sanctions, and ensure an immediate ceasefire & accountability for war crimes.

Since I became an MP I’ve been pushing for river-friendly farming to protect our waterways. Farmers want to be part of the solution, but govt must support them: invest in nature-friendly farming, properly fund the Envt Agency, and create more Water Protection Zones to truly tackle pollution.

#HomesFitForTheFuture means homes that are warm and affordable to heat, connected to reliable public transport, and protected from flooding and extreme temperatures. We have the tech; now we need the political will to build affordable, climate-resilient homes that last.

England will sell off many times more council homes this year than it built last year. This isn't an accident; it's a scandal. Right to Buy has gutted our housing stock, fuelling chronic shortages and deepening inequality. We need to end Right to Buy and reinvest in social housing today.
