In 2024 Dominato voted against immediate implementation of suicide prevention barriers. In 2025 she voted for a "zero means zero" budget which gutted future investments, including these barriers. In 2026 she voted against an amendment to restore funding for the barriers. (1/3)

Tragic and infuriatingly preventable. I encourage everyone to listen to this council debate from 2024 where one by one, ABC councilors lined up to proclaim how important this issue was as they voted to punt funding for it till 2027-30, which they then cancelled altogether this March. (1/4)
