Imagine if instead of spending $1 billion a day on forever wars, we actually invested in one of America's oldest and most popular public services.

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.” What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.” Funny how that works.

Trump says he won’t sign any other bills until the SAVE Act is passed, which requires voters to show proof of citizenship with expensive documents like passports. Reminder: noncitizen voting is already illegal and incredibly rare. This is about voter suppression, plain and simple.

It’s cool that this generation gets to find out the answer to “what would you have done when we started interning the Japanese?” and “what would you have done when we invaded Vietnam?” and “what would you have done in Watergate?” all at the same time.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers. Reminder that Congress has the power to stop this.

Live Nation paid ZERO federal income tax last year largely due to Trump's tax cuts, despite reporting $145M in profits. It's also on the verge of scoring a sweetheart deal from Trump's DOJ to end a major antitrust investigation. Trump works on behalf of the most powerful corporations. Not you.

America gave up kings 250 years ago and adopted a system in which “no one is above the law.” But presidents? SCOTUS gives them immunity. Corporations? SCOTUS makes it easier for them to pollute. Billionaires? SCOTUS says they can buy elections. The legacy of the John Roberts Supreme Court.
