Today I posted the best ever board game video and now I'm the king of YouTube.

My greatest enemies in life are the people I'm paired with at random on the Codenames app. Never has a teammate been such an opponent.

My least favorite is when every card, in addition to many other stats, ALSO has a base VP value. It's this background lever that quietly balances everything, but as a player it adds very little -- I often don't even notice it due to being distracted by the more interesting things a card is doing.

I've got nothing against point salad eurogames as a genre, but if after a few games all the scores of all players fall between 197 and 209, I start to feel like I don't really have much agency... Like what is the game here, exactly: trying to find the rounding errors in the designer's EV formula?
