And reasons 21-infinity: it's worth the effort. It's fun! It's challenging! And you get to become one of those "I made a video" people. Let's increase some awesome and decrease some world suck. Make a P4A video!

17. Every minute you spend making a video is a minute you cannot be doom scrolling. 18. If you use focus friend while making your video, your little bean guy is gonna knit so. many. scarves. 19. Nerdy references ftw. 20. No really, we cannot vote for a video that does not get made.

13. I want you to make one! 14. One of the best feelings is realizing how many people are doing the work on the various causes. I want to know about those people! I want good things for them! 15. Video making is a marketable skill! Pad that resume! 16. Community vibes! For the chat and the charity!

9. We get to inject some hope into the world. We could all use that right now. 10. It's basically a nerdy powerpoint in video form. We love those. 11. We love a collab! Ask for help, make some nerdfighter friends! 12. Your charity might win a grant and do even more good!

5. It's a chance to share what you care about. 6. Nerdfighter videos are more fun!!! 7. It's a chance to encourage other nerdfighters to also care about the things you care about. 8. Bit commitment.

#P4A2026 Reasons why you, yes you, should make a P4A video this year. 🧵 1. We cannot vote for a video that does not get made. 2. Your video can help make bad things less bad. 3. Your video can help make good things happen. 4. Even if your charity does not win, ripple effects can help your charity.

How much more energy would we have? What could be possible? What if we could prioritize diplomacy and care and safety and comfort? What could our lives be like? How much better could we make it?

What if we knew that our neighbors and our kids and our people (and everyone) would be safe, would make it home, and would have enough food on their tables? What if everyone got to go home safe? What if we had clean air and clean water and families were together?

What if we had enough peace and time and energy to do the things we wanted to do? What if we all had free healthcare? What if kids were just safe at school? What if tuberculosis got eliminated? What if there was public transit and public safety? What if there was support for everyone?

In addition to helping MN and the cities impacted by ICE, you can also reach out to your local, state, and federal elected officials and ask them to take actions to protect your communities and hold ICE accountable. Make it clear that you care about your neighbors and your community. Protect them.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives. We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.
