There once was a girl who spent her life in daydreams. There, amongst unicorns and fairies, amoungst castles in the sky and mermaids in the sea, she believed that anything she imagined could be possible. When she woke up, she began to write down every fantasy and wish, everything her heart chased.

“The night sky is full of holes because of pirates. Not just any pirates, of course, that would be ridiculous.” Triton’s Heart is a sapphic romantasy between Captain Flynn and mermaid Zelvie. The idea began with the thought, ‘what if the night sky is a sail, and the stars are holes from gunfire?’

Being a storyteller is the greatest part of my life. My books are not published yet, so sometimes I feel like I’m not good enough. I remind myself that it’s about finding the right person, who will pick up your story out of all of the other books on the shelf and say, “Oh, this was written for ME!”

I’ve loved mermaids for as long as I could dream. There was a time when I was teased for it, but I never gave up on those dreams. Now, I’m a professional dreamer, and I hope with both my novels and my modeling, that I encourage the next generation to be professional dreamers too. ✨
