Some people blame low fertility on “workism” - that people are too devoted to their jobs to prioritize having kids. While that may be true for some, it’s more likely the case that *jobs* require too much of workers. That’s a structural issue, not a cultural one.

Once again, Trump’s campaign promises to bring down the cost of living - in this case, housing costs - are directly contradicted by his actions.

UNC Chapel Hill had a similar program that just quietly disappeared about two years ago, after the Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action. It was similarly successful. A real loss.
