I canceled my Houston Chronicle subscription this morning because I never read it (I'm a Texas Tribune girly), but while I was on their site, I saw their AI policy and made sure to mention that as another reason I was cancelling.

The web, in general, is dying. Every site you visit is a parade of paywalls and ads. Just getting to the content is a trial every time, no matter what you do. After a while, the incentive to click on any link is diminished.
