When we moved to Indiana in 2012, my husband was working remotely, and the isolation was rough, so he started looking for local social activities and ended up starting a rec hockey league. Sadly, the league fell apart when we left Indiana in 2022, because no one stepped up to run it in his place.

Calling me a "doomster" distracts from the facts. The Quiet Revival story is that churchgoing increased 50% from 2018-2024. However, data from national churches & random sample surveys point in the opposite direction -- Christian identity & practice dropped. No one denies some congregations grew.

Surveys using random samples of the British population show that between 2018 & 2024: 1. The Christian share of the population declined, including among young adults. 2. There was no increase in the share of the population who were churchgoing Christians, including among young adults.
