It’s early days, but Iran’s missile attack tonight seems more symbolic than anything else. A form of communication; they even gave advance notice of the incoming missiles. It looks like a face-saving piece of military theatre in response to the US strikes at the weekend.

This is good news here, indeed. But the university sector is struggling through lack of funding, very poor staff/student ratios & road blocks preventing us from growing our staff. We're not quite at the crisis point like in the UK, but it wouldn't take much for us to tip over too.
