Rents are already unaffordable, but investors say they should rise 20-25%. Families are at breaking point - these increases risk pushing more people into homelessness. Housing policy cannot mean higher rents for those already struggling.

Healthcare assistants at Northside Homecare shouldn’t have to go on strike to get a fair wage. They do incredible work looking after our elderly. I asked the Tánaiste Simon Harris will he act urgently to get this resolved.

I joined striking Healthcare assistants at their protest outside the Dáil today. Workers at Northside Home Care Service Workers do invaluable work and yet only get paid the minimum wage. They look after our elderly, are incredibly dedicated and deserve decent pay.
