Reparenting your inner child is important and I’m sure she didn’t mean harm. As adults though, we still have to engage our adult sensibilities and look at the big picture.

There is also an added safety risk that comes with normalizing groups of adults unaccompanied by children in spaces like that.

There are far too many options for adults to care for their inner child that don’t involve taking over one of the very few third spaces small children have.
