This picture says everything about the state of our nation right now, peaceful clergy being arrested and forced face-down on the pavement.

What a photograph. “Nearly two dozen arrested as faith leaders protested outside a federal immigration facility near Chicago…” Arrested large amounts of peaceful clergy face first on pavement is a pretty good sign you’re not the good guys in the story.

Look, I know I'm salty today, but the CEO quoted in this Disney AI deal article is a schmucky ass. AI is built through IP theft. And I'm old enough to remember when Disney sued a daycare for a Mickey Mouse mural. The dissonance from Disney in this article is outrageous.

Traveller makes interesting characters by default. You don't have to pretend you're a novelist, or write an elaborate backstory, or devise a clever concept, or deeply immersed in the character's head. Character and relationships and history just fall out of the rules. It is magical.

Ahem. It's the job of the President to appoint DAs - with advice and consent from the Senate. The President can ignore that rule - but only once (per district) and only for 120 days. Do you know who appoints DAs after the 120 day mark has passed? Pam Bondi doesn't. Because it's the judiciary.

One of the real revelations of the Epstein emails is that Epstein himself was not especially bright, dispelling the "genius" tag that had always seemed ill fitting. It's almost like there was some other reason rich and powerful men were drawn to him, some other skill he had. Weird.
