Went for a trail run yesterday morning at the state natural area outside of town. First visitor in the park, on the trails before dawn. Didn’t see a soul for miles, very quiet, until I was about seven miles in, and all that silence was broken by the roar of a leaf blower in the distance.

When the trail running race commentator said “master class” I heard “bastard class,” and now I feel compelled to make this a real thing.
