Wealthy white Americans create food deserts in poor communities where no one can access a grocery store. Create a country where only the wealthy can afford fresh vegetables. And then create “health” trends where anyone that doesn’t eat “clean” is judged as a lesser human.

Thinking about the social stigma against eating fast food in a country where poor people are being starved by the govt, the cost of groceries and fresh vegetables are astronomical, and a cheeseburger at McDonald’s costs $3.50. “Clean” and “healthy” eating rhetoric is racist, ableist, and classist.

Again I am asking trans people to share something good that is happening in your life. Can be something really small or even the absence of a bad thing! Hearing the good things in your lives gives me life and hope.
