As someone living in Nepean and who lived here when this riding was still a part of the old Nepean-Carleton riding, I have to say, this is a historic result.

The issue is that unfortunately, many people on the outskirts of Ottawa (such as Pierre's riding) either outright *were* occupiers, actively supported them OR told us "That's what you get for living in crime-ridden downtown." Many people abandoned downtown Ottawa residents, sadly.

I’m hoping that the good people of Ottawa haven’t forgotten that Pierre Poilievre is a supporter of the Freedom Convoy.
