You know, the more I think about it, the more I wonder if, when we talk about ‘jobs that our young people don’t want to do’ we are actually talking about jobs we can’t afford to do (because housing/living costs are so high)

Are there examples from other countries or sectors where systems have gone from high accountability to genuinely lower levels? Seems to be that once high levels of accountability are there, it’s almost impossible to undo.
