Expensive masters programs can truly be "predatory," and I don't use that word lightly. I've watched too many students not finish these programs due to financial burden. I try to counsel them on the finances when they apply, but young folks are too trusting to think they'll get screwed by higher ed.

I care for children in the hospital on inpatient & consult services. Most weeks there are at least a few kids admitted with vaccine preventable diseases. Often in children who can’t get vaccinated themselves. 15 years in pediatrics and I’ve never seen a single one admitted with vaccine injury.
