i'm only a fraction of the way through Derelict Star but it is really good. feels great to gradually be able to get to more and more places without the movement rules changing at all, just getting more appreciation of the nuances of what can be pulled off with them.

I never doubted @smestorp.bsky.social's ability to make a good game, but I'm blown away by how good 868-BACK is. I'm 40 hours in, and the game *still* feels as surprising as when I first booted it up.

having a great time with mina the hollower!! i like a game where i can explore without anything signaling to me how expansive it might be. hammer seemingly has a way higher skill floor than the other weapons but it's super satisfying.

I played a chunk of Derelict Star last night (on my 81" TV, as god intended) and yep it's the real deal. Kind of overwhelming in its cleverness, and super inspiring.
