Today I released 0.2.0 of github.com/DracoBlue/at...: a labeler for #atproto‘s atmosphere to add fact checks to posts! The public beta runs on @facts.kiesel.app!

Today live: @facts.kiesel.app - a beta fact-check labeler for Bluesky. It routes existing fact-checks (dpa-Faktencheck, AFP, Snopes, PolitiFact, Lead Stories, Full Fact, …) onto posts with falsifiable claims. Result: a fact-* label on the post + a verdict quote-post on the labeler's own timeline.

Also... @alexbenzer.com @pfrazee.com please consider increasing the post image dimension limits to 2000 x 2000 and 2MB. Our precious little sprites demand to exist at their proper resolution, and in group shots we no longer fit the confines!

A new European microblogging app? Used to be the case that meant starting all over again. Not this time: I just logged in with the same @eurosky.social account I use for @bsky.app and it works. Starting to see the potential of decentralised socials.

What's up with verification on mu.social? Our view is that verification is first and foremost about social proof that an account is who they claim to be. It's not about follower numbers, 'public profile' or other vanity metrics. We want social media where everyone can verify their account 👇
