I’ve recorded 24.8mm rainfall in #Dorset since midnight which brings the 24h total to 41.2 mm. The drought has come to an abrupt end, but it will take a LOT more rainfall to quench the baked earth and refill rivers and reservoirs. #weather #ukweather
