all my issues with civ 7 so far are just a really rough usability, the fundamentals seem great so far; it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy easier to polish usability than fix broken fundamentals, so I think they made good production triage calls here, frankly.

Also, my current game project: Vikings on Trampolines. Its a co-op/versus brawler where you're vikings, you fight on trampolines, and balloons are sentient and evil.

Haven't posted much about my @play.date rhythm game lately, but animation events via MIDI are supported now. Here's the first animation I've put in. Gotta tweak some UI values to accommodate the size, but things are coming along. Lots of BTS tech improvements and 🎶original music🎶 too!

In what will likely become something i regret 5 months from now, I've decided to start working on my own engine. Still big love for godot, but i want to really understand the makeup of these things front to end, plus the end goal project i have in mind might be too process intensive for godot
