Me, too! I remember really liking both Thoreau and Emerson when we read them in high school (yes, the "Transcendentalist" unit of A.P. English 😆). I found them both very soothing in what was, for me, a difficult time. Still do.

All I want is a cottage in the Scottish Highlands, a raging thunderstorm, an Agatha Christie novel, a crackling fire, a kettle on the stove, an owl keeping watch, and a basket of emotional support scones.
