Just finished Simenon’s THE MAN WHO WATCHED THE TRAINS GO BY, a fugitive novel about a bookkeeper driven to violence after discovering his employer’s fraud. Peppered with rich character detail and interesting bits of social criticism, it’s definitely worth a read.
