I got myself in a lot of trouble - a *lot* of trouble, so much that I was almost fired - for saying that I prefer to hire workers who waited on tables over someone who graduated college. I specifically mentioned Reed and Lewis and Clark. The jobs: political campaign staff.

Whenever I see something like this (left), I think of something like this (right).

There was time when I assumed I'd eventually run to serve in the Oregon Legislature. Introducing bills like this something I'm sure I would done.

I saw Oh, Mary! in London last week. I never saw it on Broadway so I can’t compare it to being in a U.S. audience. I went to Hamilton in London in 2018 a couple years after seeing it in Portland. The Brits seemed to love mocking King George. They laughed harder, louder than Americans.
