Hi everyone! I'm a writer of original fiction (with lesbians) and official Stargate novels (they also have lesbians!) Here's your one-stop shopping for all my novels, links to watch adaptations of my work, and everywhere else you can find me on the internet.

I forgot to add this movie to my list, and I don't think I mentioned it here, but I really enjoyed CAUGHT STEALING. Just an old-fashioned New York crime story. Sometimes funny, sometimes terrifying, with a lot of baseball. I spent the whole movie terrified something evil would happen to that cat.

Watched the first episode of The Lowdown. Not bad. Quirky/slacker/loser detective type, but this time he's in Oklahoma! Tulsa, to be specific. Plus Ethan Hawke, Keith David, Kaniehtiio Horn, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and Kyle MacLachlan! Lots of Native American talent onscreen as well, which is lovely.

This guy came RUNNING to me today, from two houses away. Rubbing on my leg, forcing his head under my hand. When I tried to leave, he chased me. He meowed and even licked my hand. Then, after SEVEN MINUTES, his itch was relieved and he casually strolled away. Um. You're welcome...??

No words. I believed in Ryan. We moved to Oklahoma because he promised that my awful sons Enigmus Rex and Pance would be given handguns in kindergarten and then not be given any instruction on how to use them safely. I bought a shitty gray house in Tulsa because he promised they wouldn't be woke.

Adam and Jamie, Penn and Teller, Key and Peele not hanging out... it seems like the only famous pair that actually like each other were Bert and Ernie, and that's just because they were married.

It's weird when you have a crush on someone and you're pretty sure they know, but it's REALLY awkward when you're pretty sure their best friend ALSO knows because she's always looking at you like this.

I don't believe the Rapture is happening ever, let alone Tuesday, but I'll tell you one thing. If anyone who looks like this fucker sneezes around me, I'm going to say bless you.

Is readers block a thing? I'm trying to find a new book to read and I'm just... ugh. I don't want to meet a bunch of new people and care about their problems again. I got my own people and their problems to deal with.

Ashton Swinford. One of the best, kindest, smartest people I know came into my life like this: in a trailer for my webseries, as a character I didn't create. They made me feel safe about how the story would be treated. We've since become close friends, and I love them. Tomorrow is their birthday! 🤗

There's a new movie called Him (TERRIBLE NAME FOR A MOVIE BTW) and people are saying it's terrible but entertaining. I wish people had the same view of Honey Don't. Margaret Qualley looks awesome, does gay shit, fights dudes... she's a fun character! I'm sad it's doubtful we'll get more of her. 😔

I just found out the middle name of that fascist who died last week was actually James, and the idea his bigot parents named their fascist son after the captain of the Enterprise is offensive to me.

I don't know if it's because Halloween (maybe partially) or just the world in general (probably that) but women musicians are getting pretty coven-y and I think it would be a mistake for certain men to ignore that, s'all I'm saying. Fuck around is always followed by find out sooner or later.

When I approach people to be in adaptations of my novels, how do I casually drop this picture so I can say, "Oh sorry, that's the director of my first adaptation with two of the actors at the Daytime Emmys, because they were nominated for playing characters I wrote. So anyway, YOUR character..."

That would be weird, considering it was built in 2011 when he was in his late 40s. The *actual* high school he attended was across town in what is now the middle school.

When You Don't Know How It Feels came out, all the local radio stations distorted the word "joint" so kids wouldn't have to hear it. Instead we heard 'tnioj,' and asked our friends what it meant, and then our friends explained to us what marijuana was. Another success story about censorship!

The (audio)book I'm reading has a character named Shane LaSalle, and the narrator says his full name about 80% of the time. And EVERY TIME, I hear it as Shameless Al.

The one good thing about Robert Redford's death is that everyone is FINALLY acknowledging Sneakers as an all-timer.

I would love it if Seth Meyers responds by doing a whole show in a grey suit, monotone voice, reciting all of the Republican talking points no matter how ridiculous, etc. A Government Approved Closer Look. I would've said Fallon, but there's no fucking way he wouldn't do that sincerely.

Today is the birthday my friend Emily. She's not on here, but just to sing her praises: she lives in LA. The last two times I visited, she has insisted on picking me up at the airport. Not just insisted, if I decide to take an Uber instead, she requires an excuse. ("Plane leaves at 1am" works 😄)

Gift cards are such bullshit. Like you spend $50 or whatever for a friend, but they HAVE to use it at THAT place. What if you need cash for groceries? Or gas? Or any number of things. Just give me cash that will help me out in any number of ways!

If I wrote clickbait articles, I'd have one up with the headline "ROBERT REDFORD HAD THIS DEMAND ON ALL HIS SETS THAT MADE HIS COSTARS UNCOMFORTABLE!" and when you click, it's just that he asked them to call him Bob instead of Mr. Redford.

Kate Pryde and Emma Frost finally go from enemies to lovers after working together against Shaw in Marauders. The big scandal is from people upset about making them gay, so it's not too bad.

I'll only leave this up for a little while, just so it's not floating around when the official book is out. But I've been wrestling with the cover for TAINTSKIN for a long time, and I think I've finally gotten it. Or close to it. On the road there.

More proof that imposter syndrome is nonsense: Jason Isaacs at the Emmys last night: "All night I'm completely starstruck, like I'm standing behind the lines waiting for an autograph. Everybody I see. Always feel like an imposter. Witness the fact I have a paperclip for my cufflink."

I don't mind a little educational stuff in what I read. But if a book is described as "outrageously funny," I don't really want it to open with a long dry lecture about the history of Budapest.
