I received a text this morning that I think may be from the Rescue organization I got Elke through but I’m not sure and I haven’t read it. There’s a photo attached to it which might be something I’d like to see but I’m worried that it might just be a dangerous text from some stranger. I’m pondering.

Greetings all. It’s just below the freezing point here on the farm this morning with a skiff of snow on the ground. I bought this sign and put it on the garage door, I think it will get the message across before Elke would even have to say anything!

The next few days are going to be extra busy here on the farm with family arriving & friends popping by so I’m going to sign off now & spend a few hours reading a good book & enjoying a bit of quiet. Nothing going on here folks, 😂 Before Elke came to live here the neighbours had a donkey but there hasn’t been one there for some time. Apparently they got another one and it’s complaining about something. Of course that’s a sound this dog hadn’t heard before so we had to check it out!!!

Elke wants to go back outside. It’s frosty here on the farm this morning but my CA girl doesn’t seem to mind. I’ll be back in a bit.
