Of the six stories I've submitted to one market, the response times were 93, 43, 36, 8, 13, and 142 days. I don't know if that last one is a positive sign or not. Probably not, since the answer was No again. #WritingCommunity

Submitted to a writing contest and had to choose between a new story rejected 20 times and a reprint that my editor loved so much that she had me read it in 14 cities (give or take a dozen). I went with the reprint. #WritingCommunity

According to my reading blog, I read or listened to 47 books, audiobooks, graphic novels and manga in 2025. Not bad A couple books went back to the library unfinished. I didn't note any DNFs. Many books were for my book club and Library Thing ARCs, and a few were from the TBR pile.
